ABOUT THE ROLE
Sortly is hiring a Senior Product Manager to evolve our Inventory Management product line, the core of our platform that helps thousands of businesses track assets and consumables across construction, field services, manufacturing, and medical industries.
As Senior PM for Inventory Management, you'll shape the strategic vision and execution of several new features that solve complex operational workflows while maintaining our signature mobile-first simplicity. You'll own the roadmap for high-impact capabilities like bundling & kitting, asset check-in / checkout, internationalization & localization, and advanced workflow automation - features critical to our customers.
You'll work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver features that directly impact key customer workflows. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own Key Inventory Management Product Features
- Define and drive several 1-3 year roadmap features for Inventory Management, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives
- Identify and prioritize features that deliver the highest value for our inventory management customers across key verticals
- Make strategic decisions on scope, sequencing, and investment to maximize customer value and enable expansion
Ship Features That Drive Business Impact
Lead end-to-end product development for major initiatives like bundling / kitting, asset check-in / checkout, and internationalizationWrite clear, detailed PRDs with user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metricsPartner closely with engineering and design to scope features, resolve tradeoffs, and maintain delivery velocityLaunch features on aggressive timelines while ensuring quality and customer impactBecome an Expert in Customer Workflows
Conduct deep customer research across construction, field services, manufacturing, and medical verticalsBuild strong empathy for different personas (business owners, warehouse managers, field technicians) and their daily workflowsAnalyze product usage data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunitiesRun validation sessions and beta programs to ensure product-market fit before launchLead Cross-Functional Collaboration

5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years in B2B SaaSProven track record of shipping successful B2B products that drove measurable business outcomesExperience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, GTM) in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsStrong technical fluency; able to discuss APIs, database design, system architecture, and technical tradeoffs with engineeringCustomer Obsession : Deep curiosity about customer workflows, pain points, and jobs-to-be-done.
