The Regional EHS Lead reports to the Director of EHS.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Plant Managers and Construction team with the coordination of emergency drills.
  • Lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and incident investigations, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, training, and engagement with site teams.
  • Oversee and conduct safety kick-offs for construction and operational milestones, ensuring all teams are aligned with EHS expectations before major project phases.
  • Conduct internal EHS assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with company standards.
  • Assist the Program Manager with EHS program development and updates, contributing expertise and feedback to enhance overall program effectiveness.
  • Work with Corporate EHS to review EHS data and current trends for the region.
  • Complete EHS safety briefings both video based and written to communicate good catches and incident investigation findings to the organization.
  • Provide basic environmental support for regional projects and plants, including SWPPP, SPCC, SDS review, vegetation management, and RCRA activities. Identify issues and escalate them to the Environmental Lead when specialized site assistance is required.
  • Assist with project and operational plant security and safety by supporting fire plans, physical security plans to help maintain the protection of the plant, personnel, and surrounding community.
