ON CALL POSITION—10 : 00 AM-10 : 30 PM

JOB SUMMARY

Performs preparation and service of food under general supervision. Duties may involve cold preparation and assembly; cutting, chopping, portioning of food products; assembly of patient food trays; cafeteria assignments (cashiering, serving, etc...); dishroom; stock management and other tasks as assigned. Will be cross-trained in a variety of tasks within the Food Serivces department, and may provide support to the Coffee and Smoothie Bars. May be trained to utilize the steamers, warmers / ovens and fryers, to support cafeteria production. Takes into consideration age related factors in the preparation and delivery of food for patients, staff and visitors

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading and comprehension skills. Ability to perform math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in order to do production tally and run a cash register.
