California Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist (Psychologist).

Key Responsibilities

Perform intake evaluations, gathering clinical information including chronic conditions and behavioral health needs

Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

Collaborate with the Director of Behavioral Health to provide feedback and establish best practices

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted licensure as a psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in California; additional state licenses or PSYPACT authorization is a plus

3+ years of independent practice experience

Deep understanding of DSM-5 diagnostic guidelines

Experience with patients having medical complexity alongside behavioral health needs

Willingness to provide feedback and work in an iterative environment
