Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available with a focus on supporting middle school students from 5th through 8th grade. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment in Boston, MA, during the academic year.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy support to a caseload of 15-20 middle school students.
  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress effectively.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student communication needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating inclusive educational environments.

Qualifications :

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in middle school settings.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records.
