Job Description :

Seeking a dedicated Adult Med Surg Registered Nurse to join the team at Regional West Medical Center, starting March 11, 2025. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical unit during the day shift. The environment emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and excellent clinical practices. Please note that Regional West operates on Low, Mid, and High performer expectations; if a traveler is determined not to meet these performance standards, the contract may be terminated immediately to ensure quality care and team cohesion.

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekly Stipend : $1,246.00

Weekly Taxable Pay : $2,073.57

Certifications and Licenses (Required) :

Valid RN License in the State of Practice (underlined and bold)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (underlined and bold)

What You Bring :

Proven experience in adult medical-surgical nursing, with the ability to handle a diverse patient population effectively.

Strong clinical skills, including wound care, medication administration, and patient assessment.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate seamlessly with physicians, staff, and patients.

Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate patient care.

Knowledge of hospital protocols, safety procedures, and compliance regulations.

Preferred Education & Experience :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.

A minimum of 1-2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting.

Prior experience working in a hospital with high patient acuity is advantageous.
