This IT / AV Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance, support and advice to hotel staff and guests using computers, peripherals and audiovisual equipment. The IT-AV tech will install, configure, prepare, arrange, operate, diagnose, inspect maintain, and repair equipment such as laptops, desktops, point of sales, microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting, sound and other property equipment. Trains assigned personnel in simple equipment operation. This candidate will help determine the IT needs and is responsible for implementing business applications to fulfill demand requirements. Will also manage and optimize industry standard systems to maximize property operations

What you have

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience working in IT
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• Understanding of Hotel Guest Facing technologies such as PMS, POS systems
