Pay Package : Weekly Pay Package

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,162.00

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,280.00

Weekly Overtime Pay (Taxable) $0.00

Weekly Gross $2,442.00

Job Summary :

The Physical Therapist will assess and treat patients with physical impairments, focusing on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability. This role involves developing individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with state practice standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including history, systems review, and targeted assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals.
• Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Initiate and manage discharge planning from the first visit.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff and students per Texas regulations.
• Document all care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility and insurance standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams using AIDET principles.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers tailored to their needs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and compliant care environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
