• Work 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Maintain 1 : 4 patient ratio on both day and night shifts
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (days : Saturday / Sunday, nights : Friday / Saturday)
• Must work one major and one minor holiday
• Cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required (within past 6 months)
• Telemetry experience required - must be able to read cardiac strips
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (maximum 2 attempts)
• Must pass Sim Lab on first day of orientation
• Must be able to titrate down only : Amiodarone and Cardizem
• Float to MedSurg Tele units B2C and B2D as needed
• May float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
• Navy scrubs required
• Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
• Must provide current driver's license upon submission
• Work with 32-bed unit serving orthopedic, surgical, and oncology patients
• 80% surgical patients, 20% oncology patients
• Handle 8-10 elective knee / hip surgeries per week
• Use Cerner charting system and GE monitors
