- Observe and practice all corporate safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Install electrical below grade conduit and Ground Grid installations.
- Installations of above grade rigid conduit and cable tray.
- Ability to perform activities related to cable instillation and terminations.
- Installation of equipment related to metering, communication systems, and relaying systems which include electro-mechanical and solid-state electronic types where applicable.
- Performs all phases of installation, and inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Should hold a valid electrical license from any state.
- Electrical apprenticeship program completion preferred.
- Knowledge of technical practices in order to plan, layout, and complete maintenance or repair needed for high voltage equipment.
- Skilled in using and maintaining electrical tools and test equipment such as rotation meters, digital test equipment, amp meters, voltmeters, meggers.
- Knowledge of Substation grounding to create an equipotential work zone and skilled in installing protection grounds.
