Residential Security Agent - Static Protection

Global Guardian is an investor-backed, high-growth company that offers employees growth opportunities within the organization.  Position Summary and Objective The  Residential Security Agent - Static Protection  will provide a client with static residential protection and physical security.

The position will be based in a designated geographic region.

This Residential Security Agent will support the security team's overall client coverage and entail performing protection activities at a designated site in McLean, VA.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities   Provide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.

Primary responsibility is to support residence and Command Post operations to include escorts, open-source protective intel, x-raying packages, and assisting the main security post.

Effectively manage family members to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.

Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations.

De-escalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.

Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.

Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.

Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.

Assist with protection schedules and team assignments.

Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment, including a vehicle.

Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies / failures and security gaps.

Assist with intelligence and other duties within the Command Post.

Draft a variety of reports as requested by management.

All other duties, as assigned.   Competencies and Attributes   Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills; second language skills preferred.

Demonstrated experience developing relationships on assignments.

Ability to maintain composure and positively interact with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public under urgency and pressure.

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Ability to work with children and manage protection in a family environment.

Strong computer skills.

Strong desire to do open-source analysis to support our protective mission.

Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.

Able to embrace training across all platforms (Mobile, Static, Command Post, Open-Source Intel).

Proficient with applications such as Word, Excel and Google Sheets.

Ability to present findings and provide briefs in a professional manner.   Qualifications and Education   5+ years of security experience, including 2+ years of executive protection experience.

Experience conducting protection missions in domestic environments.

A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree preferable.

Basic medical first aid training, AED; CPR certification preferred.

Current DCJS Security Guard Permit (Required).

Current DCJS Security Exposed Weapons Permit (Required).

Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) (Required).

Accredited driver training preferred.   Position Type and Schedule   Regular Full-Time (RFT).

Overnight shift with rotating days off.

Forty-hour work week, ten-hour shifts.

Falls under Static Team Lead for reporting and evaluation purposes. 24 / 7 availability to the client while on a task.

May require domestic and international travel.
