Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location : Briarcliff Health Center of Greenville, 4400 Walnut St, Greenville, TX 75401

Specialty : Rehab Therapy – COTA

Position Type : Contract | 40 hours / week

Shift : 8-Hour Days

Start Date : ASAP

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in carrying out treatment plans as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Support patients with therapeutic exercises, activities, and functional tasks.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the OT.
  • Provide education to patients and families on exercises and adaptive techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

    • Requirements :

  • Active Texas COTA license .
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program .
  • Current BLS certification .
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
