Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license (must be in hand at submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience required

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification preferred

US Citizenship required

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Jackson, OH

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using the Paragon charting system

Float to other nursing units as required, per hospital policy

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
