Pretium Residential Credit Management, LLC (“PRCM”) is an asset management firm that invests primarily in residential mortgage whole loans and real estate (“REO”). Its primary objective is to opportunistically invest in non-performing, re-performing, and sub-performing residential mortgage loans and REOs as well as residential transition loans (“RTLs”), multi-family, and homebuilder loans, with a focus on enhancing the value of the loans and properties through converting them into cash-flowing assets. This is done through execution of various loss mitigation strategies, including, where feasible, converting to re-performing loans through loan modifications. PRCM has extensive expertise in managing distressed residential real estate assets and investing in other distressed asset classes.
Position
PRCM is seeking a qualified candidate for the Vice President, Residential Credit Fund Controller position. Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will manage and / or assist with all finance, accounting, tax, treasury and reporting activities for funds primarily focused on RTL, multi-family, and homebuilder loans. The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of the accounting and operations for residential mortgage loans and REO. The VP will play a critical role in the quarterly and annual financial statement close process, which includes working side-by-side with the fund administrator. The VP will be responsible for maintaining a strong internal control environment and will also be responsible for ensuring that all critical processes are conducted in accordance with PRCM’s documented policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and is comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment. This position will provide exposure to many different areas of the business, including close interaction with multiple third-party vendors and financing partners, and has the potential for responsibilities to expand quickly. This position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
