Position Summary Information
Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement, the Director for Alumni Relations Marketing Communications provides direction, leadership and supervision for the Alumni Relations staff while serving in a leadership role. The Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality, brand-consistent marketing campaigns that engage the University's 85,000 living alumni - with the goal of transforming them into potential volunteers and donors. The Director will have a strong record of progressive experience in modern communications, including evidence of writing and editing skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and knowledge of marketing to help guide the Pacific Alumni Association (PAA) and is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of programs and projects that strategically engage alumni in strengthening their relationship with the University.

Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with use of computer and phone. Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand / wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment / Work Week / Travel :
Must be prepared to work non-business hours and weekends. Occasional travel both local and overnight.
Valid driver's license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University's fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
Hiring Range
$80,000 - $92,000 (We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.)
