Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health is seeking to expand current gynecologic oncology services with the addition of a per diem Gynecologic Oncology Attending. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct gynecologic oncologic care, including chemotherapy, surgery, and management of complex clinical cases
• Gynecologic surgical care, including minimally invasive techniques
• Support and consultation to general OBGYN physicians, including difficult benign gynecologic surgical cases
• Experience in radiotherapy for gynecologic malignancies
• Educate and mentor residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical team
• Ambulatory and inpatient duties

Qualifications

Per Diem Rate = $180.00 per hour
