Salary : $53,000 - $60,000 - 10.5 month position

Chartwells K12 is seeking a Chef Manager to lead the school dining experience for the Wethersfield School District . In this role, you'll combine your love of food and community to nourish young minds and help shape a positive school culture through healthy, delicious meals.

This is more than just a kitchen job its a chance to lead a culinary team, collaborate with school leaders, and inspire the next generation with your passion for food.

Key Responsibilities :

• Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
• Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
• Possesses a passion for sustainability
