Manual Machinist Responsibilities:
- Run a manual lathe properly
- Must be willing to cut own material (bandsaw)
- Check old part measurements and duplicate to make new parts
- Know 3-wire thread measurement method
- Review engineering drawings and information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate or assemble prototypes to ensure products proper dimensions and specified tolerance levels are achieved.
- Select the appropriate tools, materials, and machines to be used for the process.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
- Set up, create CNC programs with G-code, adjust, and operate machines to produce the required work.
- Assist in developing processes, procedures, engineering and QA Documents and involvement in the future growth of the company.

Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm
Manual Machinist Education/Experience/Skills:
- Must have C&C operating capabilities (loading the programs and setting up the tooling to perform their task, programming not required)
- Provide own measuring tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years or more of direct machining experience on manual machines
- Understand Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
- A plus: Capable of operating the following machines or equivalent: CNC lathe with Fanuc control
- Gibbs CAM Experience a plus
