Job description

Are you a skilled Maintenance Professional ready for a top-tier role in Jacksonville, FL?

We are a global manufacturing leader with good local roots looking for a dynamic specialist to join our team.

THE DETAILS :

  • Hourly Rate : $34.28 (Plus Quarterly Bonus!)
  • Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM (Night Shift)
  • Location : Jacksonville, FL (On-Site)

YOUR FOCUS : This role is primarily heavy industrial Mechanical (Pipe fitting, Welding, Hydraulics, Machining) with required support for light Electrical duties.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Acceptable score on a mechanical aptitude test.
  • Must be a self-starter that displays initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to think under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Demonstrated intermediate mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Minimum of four (4) years in a related trade or occupation that involved machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

    salary : $62,400 - $71,302.4 per year

    shift : Third

    work hours : 7 PM - 7 AM

    education : High School

    Responsibilities

  • ~75-80% of time will be focused on industrial mechanical duties such as pipe fitting, welding, machining, hydraulics and working with sheet metal
  • ~10-15% of time will be assisting the performance of industrial electrical duties such as instrumentation, replacing, repairing and cleaning systems, equipment and / or component parts and basic electric work
  • ~5-10% of time will be administrative such as SAP entry, meetings, and training
  • Comply with all plant rules and corporate policies with regard to business conduct
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Support the site TPM vision by actively participating in PM pillar activities
  • Document work and activities, inspection findings, and parts consumed accurately in SAP
  • Expected to continue to develop skills and abilities with a combination of formal training and on the job experience
  • Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of this position, as directed

    • The essential functions of this role include :
