Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and collaborate with the fabrication team to implement corrective actions.
- Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to verify product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions to educate team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.Proven experience in quality control or inspection within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.You should be proficient in :
