Description :

An electrophysiology RN performs diagnostic procedures and interventions in a clinical setting.

You will prepare the patient for procedures and ensure that all equipment is functional.

Monitor the read-out or recording during procedures and assist with lab analysis.

Communicate effectively with medical staff to ensure all supplies are available.

Facilitate room turnover and on-time starts for patient care.

Coordinate with nursing staff and third-party vendors for scheduled procedures.

Assist during the sterile field by preparing patients and equipment for studies and ablations.

Maintain fluids for the ablation catheter and provide support with ablation equipment.

Remain patient-focused while assisting anesthesia and documenting during procedures.

Provide backup pacing during implant procedures.

Proficiency in EPIC for documentation is required.

Candidates should be proficient in moderate sedation.

Preferred experience includes cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience.

Familiarity with GE systems (MacLab & CardioLab) is a plus.

Typical procedures performed include RF ablations and device implants.

Experience with various mapping systems is beneficial.

This role requires a collaborative approach and commitment to quality patient care.
