Summary

Functions as an emergency response medical professional that administers immediate medical care to victims of accidents, violence, and sudden illnesses such as cardiac arrests or strokes. Provides pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility.\n\n

Job Duties

• Represents the ambulance service while on duty at public service functions, expositions, and other public events and provides ambulance stand by services when necessary.

Physical Demands

Lift over 50 lbs. Push / pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing / walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
