Key Responsibilities

Sets initial reserve, updates reserve, documents rationale and claim summary notes

Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices

Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations and decision making process

Determines and explains minimum coverage limits in moderate and occasionally complex claims involving single or multiple claimants, also determines claim value

Draft and respond to attorney correspondence, requests for information, and demands to maintain compliance and mitigate legal exposure.

Researches, responds to, or participates in Department of Insurance complaints or investigations

Coordinate the appraisal process for highly complex, disputed property claims, ensuring adherence to policy provisions.

Reviews medical reports in preparation for claims settlement evaluation

Act as the primary point of contact for policyholder attorneys, leading direct negotiations to resolve disputes efficiently.

Manages, researches, and resolves moderate and occasionally complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues

Experience

3 or more years of Casualty Represented or Litigation adjuster experience required

Experience with Moderate Represented or Litigation Bodily Injury claims in the states of Nevada and / or Washington (Preferred)

Compensation offered for this role is $57,500.00 - 100,212.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
