Housing Facilities Assistant
The Office of Student Housing and Residence Life at Cameron University is seeking a reliable and motivated Housing Facilities Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will involve a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and labor tasks essential to the upkeep of the housing facilities.
Job Duties :
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of common areas, offices, and facilities within the housing complex.
- Assist in moving and arranging furniture.
- Help with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
- Assist with tracking and managing supplies and equipment for the housing office.
- Collaborate with the Student Housing Professional Staff to complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Abilities :
Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with staff and residents.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to work professionally with students and staff.Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment as necessary. Other details, such as pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, 50 lbs., etc.Compensation : $12 per hour (up to 29 hours per week)
