Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Weekly Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : 10-hour rotating day / evening shifts with on-call responsibilities

Orientation : Biweekly orientation sessions

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2320-$2490

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont RN license required (can be applied for upon acceptance)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

BLS certification required

Orthopedic nursing skills highly preferred (orthopedics is the main specialty)

Scrub nurse experience highly preferred

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Must have own vehicle (no public transportation available)

Strong attention to detail and ability to provide thorough work history and documentation

Must not be a local candidate

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room

Assist with orthopedic procedures and demonstrate proficiency in ortho-related nursing skills

Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties as needed

Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR

Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Attend biweekly orientation and ongoing clinical training as required
