American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Boise, Idaho.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med / Surg RN with an active ID or compact license, BLS certification, and Epic experience for a night shift position with floating requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Clinical Support Unit within an acute hospital setting
  • Medical-surgical patient population
  • Night shifts 7p-7a with weekends as needed
  • Floating to other locations required
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Participation in patient care and support within a team-based Med / Surg environment
  • Orientation consists of 24 hours to unit protocols and procedures
  • No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests permitted
  • Weekend coverage required as scheduled

    • Requirements

  • Active ID or compact RN license at the time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of Med / Surg RN experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Must provide a valid driver's license
  • Two professional references required : one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
  • No local candidates accepted due to 50-mile radius rule
  • Permanent employees must be separated for at least one year before applying for a travel assignment
