The Vice President, Ambulatory Surgery Center Development Acute Care Division is responsible for the development and efficient operation of ambulatory surgery centers and potentially other outpatient services. Partners with market leaders to develop high quality, cost effective, ambulatory surgery centers. Create alignment structures with physicians for surgery center advancement. Act as senior member of Acute Care Division leadership team. Demonstrated experience and success with leading ambulatory service operations. Strong understanding of the financial management, business and clinical operations of a medical group practice, clinic and / or surgery center. Extensive health care reimbursement knowledge and experience. Advanced knowledge of and superior skills in : fiscal management techniques, revenue cycle management and third-party reimbursement. Health care administration systems. Governmental regulations and compliance requirements. Computer systems and applications. Planning, organizing and supervising. Exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public. Analyzing and interpreting complex data and preparation of comprehensive reports. Communicating effectively in writing and verbally. Human resources management, organization and team building. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years experience. Travel 50% + Travel Required to our acute division markets (California, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolina, Washington D.C).
