Adelphi is seeking a licensed and experienced Medical Doctor to serve as a School Physician for a 1-year contract term. The successful candidate will be duly licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey and will be responsible for providing medical services to students in Pre-K to Grade 12

Qualifications :
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
Experience in pediatrics, family medicine, and / or general practice preferred.

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, parents, and school staff.
Responsibilities :
Provide medical services in accordance with board policy and state regulations.
Conduct sports physicals for student athletes as required.
Collaborate with school staff to promote student health and well-being.
Document and make referrals for other medically necessary services.
Maintain medical records, document assessments, treatments, and referrals, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of students' health information.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care as needed.
Stay current with developments in the field of school medicine and ensure adherence to best practices.
Other duties as assigned by the administration.
