LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Urbana, Illinois, 61801!

Pay Information

$450 to $525 per hour

About The Position

No Call Gastroenterology-Illinois Locums Opportunity

We have an immediate need for a Gastroenterologist for a compelling locums assignment in Illinois. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure an ongoing, outpatient-only role with no call responsibilities, offering excellent work-life balance starting this fall.

Highlights

  • 100% Outpatient assignment
  • No call responsibilities required
  • Long-term contract potential available
  • Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting

  • Work within an established outpatient GI clinic
  • Focus on an adult patient population

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday daytime hours
  • Coverage needed starting this fall, ongoing need
  • Minimum commitment of only one week per month
  • You choose the weeks that fit your schedule

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Handle bread and butter EGD and colonoscopy cases
  • ERCP and EUS skills are a plus but not required
  • Inpatient procedures are handled by a dedicated GI Hospitalist

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Active Illinois license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days
  • Temporary privileges are available to expedite your start

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Travel and lodging provided
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included
