The VP of Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives, foster a positive work environment and serve as a strategic partner to the executive team to provide guidance on all aspects of human resource management.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify workforce needs and anticipate future talent requirements
- Drive organizational effectiveness through talent management, workforce planning, retention strategies and succession planning
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that attraction of top talent and diversity in hiring and compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the process
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to facilitate new employees integration into the organization
- Manage the company’s compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, commission plans, gainshare program and employee benefit packages such as healthcare, 401K, dental and vision insurance etc
- Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale and retention
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Ensure the company’s compliance with employment laws and regulations at the federal, state and local levels, ensuring the company’s HR policies and practices are compliant with the laws and regulations
- Implement and maintain HR polices, procedures and best practices to foster a fair ad respectful work environment
- Oversee the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Manage the HR systems and technology platforms to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making
- Oversee the HR administration tasks such as payroll, benefits administrations and HRIS management
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all HR systems and processes
