Social Worker Internship Director - NY LCSW

In partnership with the senior leadership team and the VP of New York, the Director of Social Worker Training & Internships - LCSW will serve a critical role here at Northeast Family Services by providing Clinical Supervision to graduate students, and helping to advance their experience, skills, and career!

The Director of Social Worker Training & Internships - LCSW will assist in the daily oversight and operations of outpatient, in-home therapy, and therapeutic mentoring work conducted in the internship program. The Director will be responsible for the supervision of members of the intern program, helping compose and approve diagnostic formulations, as well as reviewing and approving clinical assessments and treatment plans. The supervisor will also provide direct care for in-home and outpatient clients with their own caseload.

This is a New York based position and LCSW licensure in the state of NY is required for consideration. Must be available to work in NY and travel to our NY Locations as needed.

Qualifications :

Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of New York is required : LCSW

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related human services field

Minimum of three years' experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families providing direct treatment services

Proficient with supervision, service delivery and case management fundamentals

Experience in quality management preferred

Training experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle

Bilingual English / Spanish preferred

Compensation :

Full Time – Salary $80,000 - $90,000 / Year
