Overview A global law firm is seeking a
Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support its New York office. This role provides high-level administrative and word processing support to litigation attorneys and requires strong legal knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of litigation procedures and a commitment to professionalism and client service.
Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive administrative and word processing support to litigation attorneys
- Prepare, format, and submit filings through federal and state electronic filing systems (ECF)
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal and external appointments
- Arrange domestic and international travel and prepare related itineraries
- Process expense reports and time entries accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate meetings and assist with logistical planning in a proactive and efficient manner
- Maintain knowledge of citation formats, court rules, and litigation procedures
- Handle general administrative tasks and assist with additional duties as assigned
- Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing work and managing deadlines
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
- Support and uphold the attorney-client relationship
Requirements - Prior experience as a legal administrative assistant or similar role in a litigation environment
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and citation requirements
- Experience with electronic court filing systems
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is
$80,000 - $100,000, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
