Job descriptionDec 1, 2025 Ongoing (dependent on recruitment) Patient Demographics : Adult cancer patients Patient Volume / Census : patients daily Case Mix : Oncology Radiation Therapy Trauma Level : Level 3 EMR System : Epic Specialty Backup Available : Physician coverage available Reason for Coverage : Dependent on recruitment Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 120 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered SBRT SRS HDR Lutathera Xofigo Y-90 Licenses : Active New York State license required Board : ABR preferred; preferred board certified Certifications : Completion of residency in medical physics Experience : Radiation oncology experience preferred Other Qualifications : Flexibility for varied shift hours due to machine downtimes Provide radiation physics support for adult oncology patients Conduct and oversee required procedures including SBRT, SRS, HDR, and radiopharmaceuticals Collaborate with the radiation oncology team and provide physician support Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Utilize EMR system (Epic) for documentation and coordination
