How you'll contribute

A Phlebotomist who excels in this role :

• Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
• Fills in as needed in the department.
• Functions as one of the department's primary contacts with patients.
• Assists with clerical duties.
• Performs phlebotomies.
• Performs laboratory Information System functions.
• Maintains a clean work area and proper stock on supplies.
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate polices and procedures.
• Performs clerical duties.
