Job descriptionBachelor's degree is required with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in a related field. Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards including Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software. Leadership / People Management Bachelor's Degree Production Optimization Lean Manufacturing Principles Six Sigma Experience
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing production operations, ensuring that we meet quality standards while maximizing efficiency. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for manufacturing and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and optimize output.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement lean manufacturing strategies
- Use inventory management system
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Train new employees on production processes and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
