Location : Kingwood, Texas 77339

Facility Setting : Operating Room (OR) – South Tower, 1st Floor

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour days)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570 - $1680

Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs

EMR System : Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Clinical experience in trauma (general, ortho, neuro), ortho spine, neuro, general, GYN, urology, podiatry, bariatrics, vascular, robotics (DaVinci Xi), organ procurement, and plastics

Strong punctuality, dependability, and flexibility

Ability to float to Endoscopy as needed

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, maintaining a 1 : 1 patient ratio

Assist with diverse surgical procedures across all service lines except transplant

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, surgical techs, and first assistants

Operate advanced surgical equipment and technology, including robotics

Accurately document patient care and procedures using Meditech EMR

Participate in call and holiday call rotations as required

Comply with all unit guidelines, hospital policies, and dress code standards
