Nurse Manager RN
The Nurse Manager RN is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident centered care planning for the respective neighborhood to comply with Community Quality standards, State and Regulatory Compliance.
Responsibilities include the development of all nursing service personnel, performance management, evaluation, monitoring staffing needs, policy and procedures, and communication with resident and family members.
Responsibilities
1. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates Nursing Services program in the Care Center to ensure continuity of residents' total regiment of care, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines; Participates in pre-admission assessment data collection; Manages admissions, transfers, and discharge residents as required
2. Supports, evaluates, and implements written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the Care Center
3. Responsible for all aspects of care planning and documentation for respective neighborhood MDS
4. In tandem with the Director of Nursing, maintains accurate staffing levels to meet Resident care needs, including monitoring of over time
5. Monitors, evaluates, and recommends process improvements to meet Community quality, safety and risk management guidelines; Ensures compliance of reporting processes
6. Monitors and evaluates staff development needs including orientation, performance management, and leading of self-directed work teams
7. Responsible for safe medication practices including compliance with Community standards, state and federal regulations; Provides regular monitoring of nursing practices
8. Promotes an environment that meets safety and infection control guidelines and regulations including proper hand-washing techniques, resident proper transfer, proper lifting techniques, blood borne pathogens, protective equipment and fire and emergency standards.
9. Participates in the maintenance of the procedures for equipment and reporting hazardous conditions of equipment.
10. Ensures that all nursing service personnel are knowledgeable of the resident rights and responsibilities including confidentiality of all pertinent resident and employee information to assure their privacy are protected.
11. Ensures coordination and timely completion of the admission process
12. Makes rounds on neighborhoods (units) to check on residents and staff to assure appropriate and safe care delivery; Identifies issues or concerns and intervenes when necessary
13. Reports and supports investigative protocols as it relates to staff or resident incidents and / or accidents in accordance with state and federal regulations
14. Performs duties that may include direct resident care such as completion of resident assessments, treatments and administering medications
15. Responsible for facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring of staff, coordination and communication with other departments, while ensuring resident and family satisfaction

Pay grade : I, $96,165.00 / year to $154,271.00 / year.
