Inspired Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist with Cutting Operations duties in Edwardsville, Illinois in the Operations Department. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring tight inventory control within the customer warehouse and coordinating with the build teams to forecast demand and prevent any shortages. Cutting Machine Operation maintains responsibility for set up and operation of Heat Shrink Cutting Machine to specifications. This role will also ensure that inventory management practices and cutting machine operations within the customer warehouse comply with Inspired Solutions' and the customer’s operational and quality standards.

WORK SCHEDULE : 11 a.m. to 9 : 30 p.m. Monday through Thursday

Requirements :

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Inventory Management :

Maintain tight inventory control within the customer warehouse.
Forecast demand and coordinate with the build teams to prevent any shortages.
Coordinate with the Inspired Warehouse to ensure that inventory levels are maintained according to project requirements.
Ensure that the inventory is efficiently organized for prompt dispatch to the customer warehouse.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and adjust stock levels in response to the customer’s production cycles and consumption patterns.

Cutting Operations :

Set up and operation of cutting machine to ensure operational readiness, tubing positioning, and cutting parameters.

Cut the heat shrink tubing to the required length and size.

Adjust cutting speed and pressure as needed to achieve the desired results.

Maintain accurate records of cutting process, including the lengths of tubing cut and any adjustments made.

Ensure quality control to meet the required specifications and standards.

Compliance with Standards :

Ensure inventory management and cutting operations practices within the customer warehouse comply with Inspired Solutions' and the customer’s operational and quality standards.

Communication and Coordination :

Develop strong relationships with the build teams to understand their daily project demands and prioritize delivery accordingly.

Communicate closely with the Product Managers to understand the overall project requirements and ensure that the Cage Managers are aligned with those requirements.

Coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of inventory to the customer warehouse.

Provide regular reports on inventory levels and any potential issues to the Program Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management and possesses Cutting Operations experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Inventory Management, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Cutting machine operations experience.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.

Certification in inventory management or a related field is preferred.

WORK AUTHORIZATION :

U.S.-based on-site position.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
