Job descriptionJob Description Cath Lab Technician Job Summary Seeking a Cath Lab Technician specializing in Cardiac/Interventional Radiology/Vascular/Neuro. Must be a team player with Interventional Neuro experience. Two of the Four modalities preferred. The technician will perform scrub technologist duties in Cardiac/Interventional Radiology/Vascular/Neuro procedures. Key Responsibilities Scrub Procedures: Assist physicians during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. Equipment Set Up: Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures. Maintain Sterile Field: Ensure a sterile environment during procedures. Room Circulator: Assist with patient care and room preparation. Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab Interventional Cardiac Cath lab Cardiac Implant Closure Device Cardiac Stent Placement Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult IABP Placement/Removal Interpretation of dysrhythmias Left heart catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) Right heart catheterization Rotablader athrectomy Required Qualifications Minimum of 18 months of experience in specialty. ARRT or RCIS Preferred AHA or Red Cross ACLS and BLS certification required. Charting System Experience Required: Any Must be Nicotine Free - Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience in specialty preferred. Experience with Interventional Neuro procedures. Manager will discuss shift options during interview. Weekend Requirement: Manager will discuss shift options during interview. Call requirement based on need of unit, will be discussed with NM.
