This is a full-time, on-site role focused on a major military construction project at the US Navy's Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.

Your Opportunity

Stantec has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineer with large-scale marine and civil works design and construction inspection expertise to provide designer-of-record support. The FE will work with the designer-of-record office and field team on this ongoing project. The assignment is five days per week with on-site presence Monday through Friday.

The FE will support our designer of record in a collaborative, client-facing environment, with strong construction engineering capabilities and experience. Close coordination with the geotechnical team and the Shipyard construction interface is essential.

Phase one involves 134 large-diameter drilled "deep foundation" shafts in a marine environment, 40,000 cubic yards of precast concrete, and 50,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete. The FE will oversee and document permanent structures, including rebar inspections and concrete quality assurance.
