Global Banking & Markets, FICC Credit Strat - Synthetic Trading Group - Associate

The Global Banking & Markets Division values building strong relationships with institutional clients, including corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. Job Summary

We are looking for candidates to join the team in New York City or West Palm Beach. Candidates joining the Credit Synthetic Trading desk are engaged in market making and its related functions in US Credit. Team members combine their mathematical, programming and market expertise to build and generate systematic strategies. The desk looks for individuals with strong communication, both written and verbal, strong mathematical skillsets, programming experience, and who are motivated to get hands on experience with systematic trading. This role is specifically focused on the desk's Total Return Swap business.

Responsibilities

• Make quantitative improvements to risk management and funding models
• Assist with managing desk risk
• Write efficient, well tested code to accomplish the above

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
