Job Title : CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor a CNC machine equipped with a robotic torch to fabricate metal based on programmed instructions. Your role involves ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the machine, logging materials, and maintaining the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machine with precision and care.
• Log materials used and monitor the machine for optimal performance.
• Load and unload the machine as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in loading the machine and ensure all parts are available for operation.
• Utilize overhead cranes and tape measures in the fabrication shop.
• Enter programs into the computer and ensure the machine operates according to specifications.

Work Environment

This position is based in a fabrication shop environment on the first shift. The facility is not climate-controlled.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
