Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled CT / X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel appointment in Espaola, New Mexico.
Assignment Details
Location : Espaola, NM
Duration : 13 weeks
Shifts :
- ?? Sunday 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM
- ?? Monday 6 : 00 PM 6 : 30 AM
- ?? Tuesday 6 : 00 PM 6 : 30 AM
Setting : Hospital imaging / radiology department
Responsibilities
Perform CT and X-ray imaging per physician orders and imaging protocols.
Position patients correctly to ensure optimal image quality and safety.
Operate imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and safety.
Administer contrast when required; monitor patients during and after contrast administration for reactions.
Maintain patient records and documentation in the facilitys EMR.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
Provide patient education and support to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
Qualifications
ARRT (CT) (R)
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum of 2year's recent CT tech experience; X-ray crossover experience preferred.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage time well, and communicate effectively with patients and team.
