Job descriptionDesign develop test and maintain web applications using Python and Django Build and consume RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF) Develop database schemas and write optimized queries (PostgreSQL / MySQL) Integrate frontend elements with server side logic Implement authentication authorization and security best practices Write clean reusable and well documented code Perform unit testing debugging and performance tuning Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and refine requirements Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices Assist in deployment and maintenance of applications in cloud environments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands on experience with Django / Django REST Framework
- Solid understanding of MVC / MVT architecture
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL)
- Knowledge of REST APIs JSON and OAuth / JWT authentication
- Familiarity with Git / version control systems
- Understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
- Experience with Linux / Unix environment
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Docker & CI / CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
- Knowledge of Celery Redis RabbitMQ
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest Unittest)
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
