Position Overview
Driscoll Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing program at Driscoll Childrens Hospital - Rio Grande Valley, located in Edinburg, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to serve an underserved population while advancing pediatric care in South Texas.

Position Highlights:

• Join a robust and expanding division serving children and young adults with a full spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Active member of the Childrens Oncology Group (COG), with 50-60 new oncology cases annually
• Multidisciplinary support team including:
  • Clinical Research Associates (CRAs)
  • Pharmacist (Pharm.D.)
  • Case Manager
  • Registered Dietitian
  • Social Workers
  • Child Life Specialist
  • Chaplain
• Clinical role includes inpatient and outpatient care, participation in tumor boards and COG research initiatives
• Teaching opportunities available
• No in-house call required

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
• Passion for clinical care and service to medically underserved populations
