Job descriptionOperate all equipment necessary to properly package finished product Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs / adjustments ; report all malfunctions and needed repairs Maintain accurate and complete records Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities Assist in training new packagers Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards Effectively communicate with all other team members Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects Execute other responsibilities and projects as required Education and / or Work Experience Requirements : High School diploma or equivalent Previous packaging experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office / control system experience Physical Requirements : Flexibility to work rotating shift assignments and overtime as required Should be physically able as job includes a certain amount of lifting and moving (~60 lbs) ? Walking, standing, bending, grasping
