Summary : The Tax Senior is responsible for the preparation and / or review of federal and state compliance work.

Supervisory Responsibilities : This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. However, due to the scope of responsibilities, this position may direct the work of others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following :

• Review and prepare federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C-corporations, trusts, and individuals.
• Review and prepare LIFO calculations for all dealerships.
• Review fixed asset schedules for depreciation for all dealerships.
• Review various year end tax calculations such as computation of demo wages.
• Respond to state and federal tax notices on behalf of our dealerships.
• Assist in gathering information for tax audits.
• Assist office managers with any tax questions they may have.
• Research federal, state, and local tax issues.
• Responsible for the mentoring of staff.
