Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position serving K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year in Tuscaloosa, AL. This contract role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with K-12 students across diverse learning needs
  • Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to develop and implement tailored instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff

Location :

  • Tuscaloosa, Alabama
  • K-12 public school setting

    • Responsibilities :

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with various disabilities
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to support student success
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEP goals and documentation
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
