Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night shift Labor & Delivery position requiring a MO or compact RN license and strong L&D expertise.

Responsibilities

Provide care in a hospital acute care setting

Work in a 10-bed LDRP unit with Level II Nursery and one Operating Suite

Average of 50-65 deliveries per month

12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), three shifts per week

Required to work every other weekend

All RNs cross-trained for Labor and Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn and Level II Nursery, and circulating for C-Sections

Uses Meditech EMR system

Hospital provides OR green scrubs with changing locker room

Main duties involve providing care in labor and delivery, couplet care, newborn nursery, and Level II Nursery as well as circulating for C-Sections

Emphasis on candidates with strong L&D experience

Requirements

Active MO or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NIHSS

COVID vaccination required
