Job Summary :
A Field Engineer works with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents to safely and cost-effectively build heavy-highway construction projects in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with project team to understand project requirements
- Assists in the preparation of construction schedules and monitors the progress
- Assist in planning daily construction activities that are compliant with the plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Assist in providing technical assistance for construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Address jobsite site issues proactively and work with Project Engineers to develop solutions
- Assist with managing change orders
- Assist in preparing and submitting Daily Reports detailing job site activities, issues, and progress
- Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documents
- Engage in regular meetings with project team members to discuss progress, challenges, and technical details
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related fieldExperience : 0-5 years
